Shali Tibba
The Shali tibba Temple also known as Shali ka tibba is situated at an height of 2867m. The temple is located at the top of the Shali peak and is the highest point in the area. Shali peak is surrounded by Mashobra, Kufri, Fagu, and Narkanda, Shimla. It allows having a panoramic 360-degree view of Himachal Pradesh. It is a beautiful valley full of blue pine and cedar forest. Trek length of Shali Tibba is 7 km (one way). The Shali top has a temple dedicated to Bhima Kali, a goddess. The temple has been constructed with wood and stones, same as of rural Himalayan architecture.
Shali Tibba Trek
A particularly interesting trek involves the highest peak in the Shimla hills, known as Shali Tibba. It towers over the district of Shimla, right behind the Mashobra ridge. After you have reached Khatnol Village, the Shali Tibba trek starts. From Mashobra to Khatnol is 35 Km. Distance from Khatnol to Shali Tibba is approx 7 kms (one way trek). The hike is easy and it will take between 3 to 5 hours to complete. After you finally the reach the Shali Peak, you’ll see almost all the major peaks near Shimla.
Route: Shimla-Mashobra-Khatnol-Shali Tibba-Shimla
Trek Length: 6-7 km (One-way) from Khatnol Village.
Camping at Mashobra
If you feel like 7 hours is not enough time to fully enjoy the hypnotic beauty of this magnanimous peak, you can choose to spend a night camping at Mashobra. Camping is another way of directly experiencing nature. An eco-friendly camp. Mashobra has an organized accommodation that is comfortable and spacious. Divided into Bamboo cum Mud Huts, it has a well equipped dining/conference area and plenty of activity areas. Bamboo Huts of two dimensions 16 X 12 & 18 X 12 are built on Eco friendly structure and have an Attached washroom with running water facility.

Exclusions
- any kind of hotel or lodge stay on departure
- in case a trekker is unable to carry his / her backpack, it can be offloaded to mule / porter, charges of which can be directly paid to the porter (around ₹ 300 per backpack per day)
- any kind of travel, lodging or medical cost incurred in case a trekker drop out of the trek due to sickness or injury
How to Reach
By Car: – Through by cab you can come from Delhi, Chandigarh by NH5. Delhi to Mashobra will take 9 hours and From Mashobra to Khatnol Village is 35 Km, the trek starts from Khatnol. Cab will passes through Solan, Shimla, Mashobra.
By Train: – The nearest railway station is Shimla Railway Station, from shimla it will take 1 hour to reach Khatnol by Mashobra.
By Flight: – The nearest Airport is Jubbarhatti which is half an hour before from mail shimla city. From Airport it will take 2.30 minutes to reach Khatnol.
